G Master Image Quality

• Designed to rival the primes, this zoom's optics have been revamped to provide even greater resolution, clarity, and bokeh quality.

Faster AF and Floating Focus Mechanism

Faster focusing performance, improved close-up shooting, and enhanced control are all benefits of the redesigned focusing system.

• Four XD (extreme dynamic) linear motors contribute to greatly improved focusing performance, compared to the DDSSM system of the predecessor, including faster, quieter, and more precise AF that's ideal for both video and stills.
• Faster AF means improved focusing when working with fast-moving subjects; support is available for shooting at up to 30 fps, full AF is maintained even when shooting stopped down, and focus tracking is possible even when changing the zoom position.
• Floating focusing mechanism helps maintain image quality throughout the focusing range, which is especially important considering the impressive close-up performance of this lens: minimum focusing distance of 8.6" and a maximum magnification of 0.32x across the entire zoom range.
• Internal focusing design promotes snappier, more responsive focusing performance and maintains the same center of gravity during lens extension and retraction.

FE 24–70mm F2.8 GM II Lens

Hoge resolutie is vergelijkbaar met de beste prime-lenzen
Uitstekend contrast bij hoge ruimtelijke frequenties resulteren in een topresolutie, zelfs bij F2.8. Twee zeer nauwkeurige XA-elementen, twee ED-glaselementen, twee super ED-glaselementen en een zwevend scherpstelmechanisme beperkt de chromatische aberratie voor scherpe, heldere beelden bij iedere zoomlengte en diafragma. De antireflecterende nanocoating II beperkt schittering en spiegeling voor de beste helderheid.

Verbluffende G Master-bokeh
Prachtige F2.8-bokeh over het volledige zoombereik, dankzij het geavanceerde optische ontwerp en een nieuwe, 11-bladige diafragma-unit. De bokeh is verbeterd door de nauwkeurige controle van de sferische aberratie bij het ontwerp en de productie. Twee XA-elementen met een precisie van 0,01 micron onderdrukken uienringbokeh. De scherpstelafstand is 0,21 m bij 24 mm en 0,30 m bij 70 mm, met een maximale vergroting van 0,32x.

Zo compact, licht en veelzijdig zijn ze zelden.
Deze lens biedt een kleine en lichte F2.8 24-70 mm zoom, voor ongeëvenaarde flexibiliteit en vrijheid. Hij weegt slechts 695 gram, 191 gram minder dan het vorige model. Hij is 16 mm korter en het volume is met ongeveer 18% afgenomen. Vanwege de geweldige draagbaarheid en mobiliteit is dit een goede keuze voor iedereen die video's of foto's in uiteenlopende situaties wil maken.

Snelle, nauwkeurige, scherpstelling en een verbluffende reactiesnelheid
Vier van de originele XD lineaire motoren van Sony, een zwevende scherpstelling en een geavanceerde lensbediening zorgen samen voor zeer nauwkeurige autofocus en twee keer zo goede tracking tijdens het zoomen dan het vorige model. Met een compatibele behuizing neemt hij tot wel 30 frames per seconde op. Ook de nieuwe diafragma-unit zorgt voor een hoge snelheid, waardoor de autofocus ook goed kan tracken als het diafragma gesloten is.

Verfijnde functies voor video voor content creators
Met de gloednieuwe technologie worden ongewenste beeldverschuivingen en wisselende beeldhoeken vervangen voor vloeiende, sprekende videobeelden. XD lineaire motoren verbeteren de prestaties van de AF en de tracking, voor opnamen met een hoge framesnelheid en haarscherpe details. Er worden onafhankelijke ringen voor scherpstelling en diafragma meegeleverd en bij handmatig scherpstellen reageert de scherpstelring dankzij de lineaire respons razendsnel.

Verbluffende bediening en betrouwbaarheid in alle situaties
Een bijgewerkt stof- en vochtbestendig ontwerp biedt extra betrouwbaarheid in uitdagende omstandigheden buiten. De fluorcoating houdt het voorste element schoon. De praktische circulaire polariserende en variabele ND-filters (optioneel) werken via een speciale opening in de meegeleverde zonnekap. Twee knoppen voor scherpstelvergrendeling bieden toegankelijke en handige bediening bij opnamen vanuit elke hoek.
