The lens boasts a 28-500mm focal length with a 2x extender allowing an impressive maximum telephoto range of 1000mm, ideal for wildlife, news or stadium sport events.
4K optical performance
The lens boasts 4K resolving power for HDR and WCG productions. Canon’s optical design allows superb levels of detail with advanced coatings for sharper images.
Enhanced image correction
The lens features correction data based on BT.2020. This enables excellent colour reproduction to the corners of the screen when attached to a 4K camera.
16 bit high-performance digital drive
The lens can power on without initialisation. Image aberration correction, position detection, and viewfinder position display are all possible from the camera.
Compact and lightweight design
